IP転送装置の制御要素[CE]と転送要素[FE]を分離したモデルにおける,CE-FE間インタフェースに用いる標準プロトコル.

IETF[Internet Engineering Task Force]のForCES WG[Forwarding and Control Element Separation Working Group]において検討が進められた.
